Arrive at Yangon International Airport, welcome on arrival, and transfer to the hotel for check-in. The room is at your disposal from 14.00 onwards. Relax in your leisure time.

Overnight at hotel in Yangon, former capital of Myanmar.

Spend a full day exploring Yangon - the former capital city of Myanmar. This city is an enchanting mix of colonial-era buildings, bustling markets, tree-lined broad streets featuring colonial architecture, and a beautiful natural lake. This is definitely a fascinating place to enjoy peaceful life though visiting the Sule pagoda, an excellent - 2000 year landmark, small downtown, the harbor, famous fish markets, and one of Southeast Asia's grand colonial hotels – the Strand.

Then the next destination is “Golden Pagoda” – a spiritual heart of Myanmar. After the pagoda visit, there will be a Burmese traditional lunch. In the afternoon, walk over to a local market and take taking a train from Yangon Circular Railway. Then you will visit Bogyoke Aung San market - a great tourist place in Yangon with 1641 shops selling luxury items, handicrafts, foodstuffs, and several consumer goods before returning to the hotel for relaxing.

Transfer back to the hotel.

Overnight at the hotel.

Having a nice breakfast, then we will depart early from the hotel to take a flight to Bagan. Bagan is known as a mysterious land of over ancient 2000 temples where no visitor can ignore to discover the Burmese’s history and the development of Buddhism.

We will first visit Nyang U Market, a typical market that remained in Myanmar for centuries. Here you will be attracted by diverse vegetables and fruits as well as the unique images of locals with the basket on their heads. We then visit Shwezigon pagoda, the olden golden pagoda in Bagan located in Nyang U town, as well as explore Ananda Temple as further travel into the Bagan plains and the surrounding temples.

In the afternoon, continue the trip to visit a local lacquer ware workshop and have an insightful understanding of the lacquer painting technique.

Overnight in Bagan.

One of the many highlights when visiting Myanmar is exploring Mt Popa – an extinct volcano on the slopes of which can be found the sacred Popa Taungkalat monastery perched atop a huge rocky outcrop. The monastery at Taungkalat (meaning ‘Pedestal Hill’) is famous for being home to 37 Nats.

Then we take a car back to Bagan. Shwe Hlaing Village is a must-see on the way to Bagan. This traditional craft village is famous for unique products from the toddy palm trees.

The highlight of the day is the breathtaking sunset beauty from the Shwesandaw Pagoda.

Overnight in Bagan.

Taking a short flight to Heho in the early morning and we will start the trip to Pindaya Cave – a Buddhism pilgrimage famous site, containing thousands of Buhha images. After that, we will pay a visit to Inle Lake – a freshwater lake in the heart of the Shan Plateau, surrounded by small villages, island-bound Buddhist temples, and floating gardens.

The surface of the lake seems to perpetually resemble a vast silver sheet at the noon and become a wonderful picture in the sunset. Especially, the features of culture and long-lasting history and the kindness of locals set a good impression on visitors.

Overnight in Inle.

Take a boat to explore Inle Lake, visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, and Nam Pan Village.

Take a boat to cruise on Inle Lake to discover its natural beauty. Inle Lake is known as the second largest lake in Myanmar, however, it is considered the most beautiful place in the land of golden pagodas.

Contemplate the rich beauty of floating gardens full of various plants and vegetables as well as explore the daily life of locals. Here you will be attracted by the unique image of boatmen. They row by one leg while the other stands on the boat to fix and catch fish by hand with their traditional tools. That is the particular trait of the Intha people.

Continue the trip to visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. There are many pagodas around the lake; however, Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda is the most grandiose and monumental one. It is known as the symbol of five small golden Buddha images.

Then we will pay a visit to Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, made of wooden and floating on the lake. You will feel interested in the cats that were trained to jump through hoops as well as the impressive golden Buddha images. Finally, we will transfer to Nam Pan Village to explore the local life at the cotton and lotus weaving factories and cigar-making houses.
