Itinerary in details:

Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your romantic boutique hotel. Settle into your room (Welcome Champagne is served in your room), often decorated with flowers and a welcome fruit basket, and find a complimentary bottle of champagne. After resting, enjoy a gentle introduction to Siem Reap. Your first evening could begin with a tranquil sunset cocktail cruise by gondola on the moat of Angkor Thom, offering a serene first glimpse of the ancient city.

Overnight in Siem Reap.

An early start is essential for the quintessential Angkor experience. At 4:45 AM, your private guide will escort you to Angkor Wat to secure a prime spot for the sunrise, where the temple's five towers are perfectly reflected in the lotus pond. After the sunrise, explore the vast corridors and intricate bas-reliefs of this 12th-century masterpiece. Following a breakfast break, continue to the ancient city of Angkor Thom, entering through the monumental South Gate. Spend the rest of the morning exploring the iconic Bayon Temple with its 216 serene stone faces, the Baphuon, and the Terraces of the Elephants and Leper King. Return to the hotel for a relaxing afternoon by the pool. In the evening, enjoy a romantic dinner at a fine-dining restaurant or a special honeymoon set menu with wine at your hotel's poolside.

Overnight in Siem Reap.

Today focuses on two of Angkor's most beautiful temples and a cultural evening. Start a bit later at 9:00 AM with a visit to Ta Prohm, the "Tomb Raider" temple, where massive tree roots have spectacularly overgrown the stone ruins. Then, take a 35km drive to the exquisite Banteay Srei, known as the "Citadel of Women," for its intricate pink sandstone carvings, considered masterpieces of Khmer art. Return to the city for lunch at a social enterprise restaurant supporting local youth. In the evening, dress for a special dinner and witness a classical Apsara dance performance at a cultural village or theater, a captivating display of Khmer heritage.

Overnight in Siem Reap.

Enjoy a cultural excursion to the Tonlé Sap Lake, Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake. Drive to the less commercial village of Kompong Phluk, where you'll take a boat ride through the floating village and into the flooded mangrove forest, observing a unique way of life. We will go to local pagoda, where you should change to clothes you can get wet in as here you will experience the ceremony “SrouchTeok”, which roughly translates into “Water blessing”. A monk will chant in ancient Pali as he splashes water over you, washing away your sins and bad luck so you can start fresh and by being a good person can increase your good luck.

Visit Apopo a HeroRat Visitor Center (https://www.facebook.com/APOPOVisitorCenter) and experience the realities of humanitarian demining and how we train rats to save lives. You will learn about the mine clearance process from our guides, enjoy a series of videos showing our work and can read all about how Cambodia became one of the most mine affected countries in the world.

After lunch on the water, return to town for a romantic afternoon at a world-class spa, Bodia. Indulge in a two-hour couples' Khmer spa treatment, such as a traditional massage, to unwind together. The evening is kept free for a light dinner at a local fusion restaurant (own account).

Overnight in Siem Reap.

A completely free day offers ultimate flexibility. You might choose to relax by the hotel pool, book an optional activity like a Khmer cooking class where you prepare dishes such as fish amok and beef lok lak, or take an ATV tour through the countryside and rice paddies at sunset. In the evening, a must-do is Phare, The Cambodian Circus, an energetic and moving performance by social-enterprise acrobats, combining theatre, music, and dance to tell Cambodian stories.

Overnight in Siem Reap.

Enjoy a final leisurely breakfast at your hotel. Depending on your flight time, you may have a morning to explore the Old Market for last-minute souvenirs, such as handmade silk items or Kampot pepper. Your driver will then transfer you to the airport for your departure.
