Upon arrival at Siem Reap Int’s Airport, process immigration procedure (visa on arrival is available or obtain in advance via www.evisa.gov.kh), Cambodia E-Arrival Card - https://arrival.gov.kh, clients can apply online or on arrival), then get your luggage and walk straight to the Exit Gate where our guide is waiting. After self-introduced, you’ll transfer to hotel in the city. Time to fresh-up and relax at hotel.

Your first evening could begin with a tranquil sunset cocktail cruise by gondola on the moat of Angkor Thom, offering a serene first glimpse of the ancient city.

 

Tonight, is your first experience of a warm and cozy environment at one of the selection resorts in Siem Reap town. You will accommodate in a honeymoon’s room, which has been design by rose flowers to welcome you.

An early start is essential for the quintessential Angkor experience. At 4:45 AM, your private guide will escort you to Angkor Wat to secure a prime spot for the sunrise, where the temple's five towers are perfectly reflected in the lotus pond. After the sunrise, explore the vast corridors and intricate bas-reliefs of this 12th-century masterpiece. Following a breakfast break, continue to the ancient city of Angkor Thom, entering through the monumental South Gate. Spend the rest of the morning exploring the iconic Bayon Temple with its 216 serene stone faces, the Baphuon, and the Terraces of the Elephants and Leper King. Return to the hotel for a relaxing afternoon by the pool. In the evening, enjoy a romantic dinner at a fine-dining restaurant or a special honeymoon set menu with wine at your hotel's poolside.

Today focuses on two of Angkor's most beautiful temples and a cultural evening. Start a bit later at 9:00 AM with a visit to Ta Prohm, the "Tomb Raider" temple, where massive tree roots have spectacularly overgrown the stone ruins. Then, take a 35km drive to the exquisite Banteay Srei, known as the "Citadel of Women," for its intricate pink sandstone carvings, considered masterpieces of Khmer art. Return to the city for lunch at a social enterprise restaurant supporting local youth. In the evening, dress for a special dinner and witness a classical Apsara dance performance at a cultural village or theater, a captivating display of Khmer heritage.

Enjoy a cultural excursion to the Tonlé Sap Lake, Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake. Drive to the less commercial village of Kompong Phluk, where you'll take a boat ride through the floating village and into the flooded mangrove forest, observing a unique way of life. We will go to local pagoda, where you should change to clothes you can get wet in as here you will experience the ceremony “SrouchTeok”, which roughly translates into “Water blessing”. A monk will chant in ancient Pali as he splashes water over you, washing away your sins and bad luck so you can start fresh and by being a good person can increase your good luck.

Visit Apopo a HeroRat Visitor Center (https://www.facebook.com/APOPOVisitorCenter) and experience the realities of humanitarian demining and how we train rats to save lives. You will learn about the mine clearance process from our guides, enjoy a series of videos showing our work and can read all about how Cambodia became one of the most mine affected countries in the world.

After lunch on the water, return to town for a romantic afternoon at a world-class spa, Bodia. Indulge in a two-hour couples' Khmer spa treatment, such as a traditional massage, to unwind together. The evening is kept free for a light dinner at a local fusion restaurant (own account).

Transfer to Siem Reap airport for departure to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival at Phnom Penh airport, meet your guide and driver. After self-introduced, you’ll transfer to visit Choeung Ek Killing Field sit just outside Phnom Penh, the best known of the “killing fields” where the Khmer Rouge executed over a million innocent Cambodians. A memorial stupa contains the skulls of around 8,000 victims; bracelets decorate killing sites; and a museum documents the atrocities.

Continue our visit to the Tuol Sleng Museum, the memorial site of the S-21 interrogation and detention center of the Khmer Rouge regime. Located in the heart of Phnom Penh, it preserves a tragic period in history with the aim to encourage visitors to be messengers of peace.

 

As the sun sets and the capital sheds its daytime heat, the street corners of Phnom Penh come alive with sizzling woks, fragrant smoke, and neon lights. This guided evening food tour takes you completely off the tourist path and deep into the culinary heart of local riverfront neighborhoods, where family recipes have been perfected over generations.

  • We will enjoy a dinner cruise for view sunset on the Mekong and Tonle Sap River. Situated at the “Four Arms” where the Mekong meets the Tonle Sap River before splitting into two branches, Phnom Penh offers the ideal location to discover the mighty Mekong.

Leaving the delights of Phnom Penh behind, it's time for you to make your way to the former French settlement of Kampot. The southern coast of Cambodia, edging the border with Vietnam, once served as a glamorous seaside resort for the French in the early 1900s. Evocative of the French Riviera towns along the Mediterranean coast; the towns of Kep, Sihanoukville and Kampot have tree-lined, wide roads fringing the ocean, large statues, luxury villas, casinos and even a palace overlooking the Gulf of Thailand.

Visit La Plantation pepper farm to learn about Kampot pepper, one of Cambodia’s most famous exports and the only pepper in the world with a protected geographical indication status, often compared to fine wine for its quality and variation.
