Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, your personal driver and guide will greet you with a warm smile. You’ll be whisked away in a private vehicle to your boutique hotel nestled in the vibrant heart of Saigon. Relax and immerse yourself in the pulse of this fast-moving metropolis.

8.00 am: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and then start drive to Cu Chi which located 60km from Saigon city, Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti-American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for the original tunnels system of over 220km and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The peacefully rural rice paddy scenery contains ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers alongside the road. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destruction, damage, and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines When Cu Chi was” A Free Target Zone “. The remnants visitors will see show Cu Chi still has her evidence to prove the fierce battleground that took place there and visitors will see the remnants.

We pass the now-demolished wartime American Embassy before we visit the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office. After seeing the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum, we continue our trip on to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale.

Experience the charm of Vietnam’s countryside with a day trip to Ben Tre, the land of coconuts. Cruise along tree-lined canals, visit local workshops, and cycle through rural villages. Enjoy a home-cooked lunch at a riverside garden where southern flavors shine with dishes like caramelized fish in clay pot and fresh tropical fruits.

Transfer to airport for flight to Hue, a city steeped in royal tradition. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to hotel for check in.

Step into Vietnam’s regal past at the Imperial City. Visit Thien Mu Pagoda and the ornate tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh. End the day with a traditional Hue royal meal in a private garden house, serenaded by soft traditional music.

Take a picturesque drive through the Hai Van Pass, stopping at the Marble Mountains and local villages. Arrive in Hoi An, a UNESCO Heritage Site known for its charming lantern-lit streets, ancient houses, and riverside ambiance.

Explore Hoi An’s historical core – the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, and merchant homes. Visit a countryside farming village where you’ll learn the art of organic planting and water buffalo riding.

Fly to Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital of culture. Meander through the Old Quarter, savoring egg coffee and catching glimpses of the city's storied past in its narrow alleys and faded colonial facades.

Visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. Explore the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex and take a reflective stroll along West Lake to Tran Quoc Pagoda. Cap off the day at a contemporary art gallery or tucked-away café.

Drive to Halong Bay and board a luxury boutique cruise. Sail through emerald waters dotted with limestone pillars. Visit a floating fishing village or hidden cave. Sunset over the bay is followed by a candlelit seafood feast on board.

Start your morning with a Tai Chi session on deck. Explore more of the bay by kayak or tender boat before disembarking. Return to Hanoi for an evening of leisure.

Transfer to Hanoi airport for flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival at Luang Prabang Airport. Luang Prabang that is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia.

You will be met by our guide and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

We visit the National Museum at the former Royal Palace displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign. The National Museum and the Central Market are not to be missed. We enjoy a short tour seeing the city’s oldest temple Wat Sene and Wat Xieng Thong, a significant monument to the spirit of religion, royalty, and traditional art. Later we’ll visit the impressive Wat Visoun, the oldest temple that houses many Buddha images. Next is Wat Aham, the ‘Monastery of the Blossomed Heart’ exudes serenity, and Wat Mai, the largest and most richly decorated of the temples in this city.

Afternoon: you will go by boat to Pak Ou Caves, enjoy splendid natural scenery along the way and observing local fishermen and daily activities along the river. Pak Ou Caves, locally called Tam Ting, are filled with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues. The caves are noted for their miniature Buddha sculptures. Hundreds of wooden Buddhist figures take many different positions, including meditation, teaching, peace, rain and reclining (nirvana).

On the way back, you will also have opportunity to visit the local riverside villages of Ban Xanghai, a popular stop-over producing some special varieties of Laolao, the local rice wine. Second stop at Ban Xang Khong, known for its handmade paper and weaving craft.

On the bright day, you’ll have chance to enjoy the marvellous sunset while cruising down along the mighty Mekong.

Evening, enjoy Luang Prabang night maket, offering a lovely variety of handmade textiles crafted by local and hill-tribe people, along with street food, knick-knacks and friendly banter.

Wake up as the sun rises, we will prepare to join the most sacred tradition of Laos, the daily morning alms giving, which dates to the 14th century. More than 200 Buddhist monks depart from various temple to gather their daily meal from the faithful residents sitting quietly on the streets.

 

Travel south of town to the famous Kuangsi Waterfall; the turquoise color of the water with a backdrop of white limestone cliffs gives the waterfall a magical appearance. Depending on the season the water level varies and you can be swimming in the beautiful pools. While there, you also will have the opportunity to visit the Sun Bear Reserve, a conservation center that rescues animals from the wildlife trade.

Last but not least, we visit Laos Buffalo Dairy is a socially responsible, sustainable farm, and social enterprise.
Our aim is to improve the rural prosperity, welfare, nutrition, and health of the local population, with a focus on buffalo farming, and childhood nutrition.

 

Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Free for your own time till transfers to the Luang Prabang train station for a journey down to Vientiane. You arrive in Vientiane, meet our driver and transfer to hotel.

Vientiane is a fascinating capital, with a fusion of Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, and American influences. This charming and easygoing city will provide a smooth introduction to Laos.

After breakfast, departure to visit the colorful Thong Khan Kham market. There are many markets in Vientiane. There you will find all the foods that constitute the daily diet of Laotians but also all kinds of products (household appliances, jewelry, etc.). Dried red peppers are widely used in Laotian cuisine, particularly for macerating meat and fish. then visit the imposing Patuxay Monument. which is well known as a Triumphal Arch of Vientiane before continuing to the famous That Luang Stupa.

Continuation of the discovery of the city of Vientiane. We start with Wat Sisaket which is the oldest temple still standing in Vientiane. This amazing structure has remarkable frescoes and images of Buddha, then Haw Prakeo, the former royal temple of the Laos monarchy, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Statue.

In the afternoon: we will visit to Wat Si Muang, which is very famous for its supernatural power. Then go to Buddha Park which takes around 45 minutes. Along the way, stop to take photos of the Friendship Bridge which was built by the Australian government in 1994 and connects Laos and Thailand. Arrive at Buddha Park and enjoy a walk in the park. Also known as XiengKhuan, this park is filled with over 200 Buddhist and Hindu statues. The concrete sculptures are bizarre, yet intriguing, sitting majestically in the peaceful grounds. The peaceful setting of the park on the banks of the Mekong contrasts radically with the somewhat eccentric works sculpted in 1958 by a Laotian shaman-priest-yogi. Return to Vientiane city center. The rest of the day is free to take a stroll in charming, relaxing colonial neighborhoods or you can enjoy a cup of coffee in shaded terraces while contemplating scenes of river life as the sun sets on the Mekong.
