Itinerary in details:

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, your personal driver and guide will greet you with a warm smile. You’ll be whisked away in a private vehicle to your boutique hotel nestled in the vibrant heart of Saigon. Relax and immerse yourself in the pulse of this fast-moving metropolis.

Overnight in Saigon.

8.00 am: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and then start drive to Cu Chi which located 60km from Saigon city, Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti-American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for the original tunnels system of over 220km and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The peacefully rural rice paddy scenery contains ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers alongside the road. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destruction, damage, and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines When Cu Chi was” A Free Target Zone “. The remnants visitors will see show Cu Chi still has her evidence to prove the fierce battleground that took place there and visitors will see the remnants.

We pass the now-demolished wartime American Embassy before we visit the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office. After seeing the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum, we continue our trip on to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale.

Meet our guide and driver then transfer to Ben Tre, a small town, hidden within the Mekong Delta, has recently stepped out to be a destination in its own right. This peaceful retreat offers many charming surprises besides the lush vegetation, snaking canals, and enchanting smiles.

A day to Ben Tre is a day when you are no longer a tourist but a true resident embarking on a sensory voyage of discovery. Enjoy observing how bricks and grass mats are made with age-old traditional techniques as well as how products are extracted from coconuts. Admire stunning panoramic countryside pictures made of green coconut palms, yellow river streams and colorful local products. Feel the warmth of the tropical breeze and the coolness of water currents whilst exploring the earthy trails. Taste and smell local exotic fruits, “garden-made” cuisine or stop to observe and satisfy your palate with just-made wet rice paper or coco candies married with green tea.

Return back to Saigon and free for your own time.

Free till transfer to Saigon airport for flight to Danang. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to Hoi An for check in.

Explore Hoi An’s historical core – the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, and merchant homes. Visit a countryside farming village where you’ll learn the art of organic planting and water buffalo riding.

Ascend to Ba Na Hills, famed for its cool climate and European-style architecture. Stroll through the charming French Village and cross the iconic Golden Bridge, held aloft by giant stone hands in the clouds.

Continue to Da Nang Beach, Han Market, and Marble Mountain before returning to Danang airport.

Fly to Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital of culture. Meander through the Old Quarter, savoring egg coffee and catching glimpses of the city's storied past in its narrow alleys and faded colonial facades.

Hanoi is a green city with its stylish French villas; it still exudes that old French charm and style. Its tree-lined boulevards, romantic lakes and French architecture allow us to step back in time to a quieter, more relaxed Vietnam. We visit the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum and Ho’s simple, yet impressive house on stilts, set in beautiful gardens. Then we view the One Pillar Pagoda and the ancient Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. In the afternoon we visit the Ethnological Museum, one of the most interesting in Hanoi and then take an hour cyclo tour to discover the heart of Hanoi – the bustling Old Quarter – where the narrow streets buzz and bustle with the life of city. It is a shopper’s delight, with beautiful silks, linen, and Vietnamese artifacts. To finish off the day, we attend the performance of the famous Vietnamese water puppetry.

Overnight in Hanoi.

This morning, we leave Hanoi by road for Ha Long Bay by shuttle bus from the cruise, enjoying the timeless scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and daily life of the countryside. On arrival in Ha Long, we board a beautifully appointed wooden junk. A seafood lunch will be served as we cruise among the hundreds of islets in the Bay. Our cruise takes us to Sung Sot cave to witness a splendid sunset.

Overnight on boat.

Early morning coffee and tea will be served on the sundeck followed by a Tai Chi class. We continue exploring magnificent Ha Long Bay. Change to a small motor or rowing boat to see the floating village. When we return to the junk, a sumptuous meal, combining Vietnamese and Western cuisine will be served. On leaving the cruise, we depart back to Hanoi by shuttle bus from the cruise.

We continue to explore and discover the magnificent Ha Long Bay and some of its many caves before we leave the cruise and we transfer directly to Ninh Binh.

Upon arrival at Ninh Binh, check in the hotel, then we visit Mua Cave and the Bich Dong pagoda.

After breakfast, we continue our journey to Trang An tourist attraction, we take a boat trip to visit the caves complex: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness. We’ll see scenery of mountains and rivers. Trang An is considered as “Ha Long on the land”.

After lunch, we transfer to the Four Paws Bear Sanctuary to learn about the conservation of Asian bears, rescued from the bear farming industry in Vietnam. Next, we will visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center. This is a non-profit conservation effort for the threatened monkeys of Cuc Phuong, some of the park’s most beloved residents, who have been under the protection of keepers since 1993. After some time in this center, the monkeys are released into an open but still protected section of the park. After that, you will continue to visit the Turtle Conservation Center where are kept 20 species of turtle and tortoises for rescue and conservation.

Transfer back to Hanoi.

Transfer to Hanoi airport for flight to Bangkok.

Warmly welcome at Bangkok International Airport, meet & greet service by our guide and transfer from the airport to hotel by private air-conditioned vehicle with English speaking guide. Check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free to discover the “City of Angels” at your own pace.

Overnight in Bangkok.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of Bangkok's most famous temples. Your first stop will be at Royal Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha, two of the most famous tourist attractions in Bangkok. The Grand Palace is adjacent to Wat Phra Kaew, and together they form a common compound. The Grand Palace features European-inspired designs, except for the roofs, which maintain a distinctly Thai style.

Next, you will visit Wat Po, which is the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok. This temple is famous for its Reclining Buddha (Phra Buddhasaiyas), the largest single Buddha image in Thailand, and is also the birthplace of traditional Thai massage. After this visit, you will have free time for lunch on your own.

You will then visit Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of the Dawn. This iconic landmark is one of the most well-known temples in Bangkok and offers a stunning view of the city.

Enjoy a walk through the flower market before the last visit at the Golden Mountain.

After this visit, you will return to your hotel for some free time to relax and explore the city at your leisure. Overnight in Bangkok.

Breakfast at hotel. At 06:30-07:00: Meeting with the Guide at the hotel and departure for a beautiful day of visits to the nearby provinces of Song Khram and Ratchaburi, about 100 km from Bangkok. Let's start with the Railway Track Market (Hoop Rom Market) also commonly called Siang Tai (life threatening) market. It is considered one of the fantastic attractions of Thailand.

We then proceed towards the Damnen Saduak Floating Market, arrive at the pier and with a motorboat in about 30 minutes of travel between the canals, we reach the Floating Market. Damnoen Saduak Market in Ratchaburi is one of the most popular floating markets in Thailand. Every day many Thai and foreign tourists arrive here to shop, eat and absorb the atmosphere of Thailand's water markets built over a hundred years ago.

After a day of exciting experiences, be transferred to our next destination of the trip. After the check-in procedures at the hotel in Kanchanaburi, the rest of the day is free. Relax and prepare for other fascinating visits and activities.

Overnight in Kanchanaburi.

Today starts with a history lesson at the JEATH War Museum whose theme is about the construction of the Death Railway from 1942 to 1943, a part of the Thai – Burma railways. You shall be looking at images of brutal crimes that took place during a dark period of history before processing to Kanchanaburi War Cemetery nearby where lies almost 7000 victims that were victims of Japanese crimes during those times.

Then, take a short scenic drive (about 1 hour) to Wang Pho Elephant Camp and befriend the lovely huge elephants there. You make choose to have a short elephant-riding sightseeing tour as well.

The next stop of today is the majestic Erawan Waterfall which bears the title of “the most beautiful waterfall in Thailand”. The fall consists of 7 high levels which add up to be about 2,000 meters high.

At the end of the day, be escorted to Ayutthaya where you process your check-in at the hotel and take a rest.

Indulge yourself with tasty breakfast at the hotel then have an exciting excursion to our next major destination of the tour – Ayutthaya Historical Park in the ancient capital of Ayutthaya. Once the heart of Ayutthaya Empire that witnessed a glorious summit of Thai history, the city is left with countless ancient temples featuring hand-constructed architecture. Ayutthaya Historical Park was recognized as World’s Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The first site in the complex we pay a visit today is Wat Phu Khao Thong – a huge religious work standing in the middle of green paddy fields featuring a shimmering chedi plated with gold on top of the pagoda.

Proceed to Wat Phra Si Sanphet as the most sacred temple of Ayutthaya and its three high towers rising parallel in Ceylonese style. Next up, visit Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit, the pagoda where it stands the copper statue of Buddha posturing the defeat of Mara. This work also ranks as one of the biggest statues of Buddha in the country.

Another gilded site of Buddhist pilgrims in Ayutthaya is Wat Lokaya Sutha in which it portrays a giant Buddha reclining peacefully. The statue is the most sacred relic among many other valuable treasures in Wat Lokaya Sutha.

Return to Bangkok. Stop en route at the Royal Summer Palace located in Bang Pa-in district which is a favourite retreat destination of the royal family. This Summer Palace is a complex of architecture combinations of European, Khmer, Chinese and traditional Thai styles.

The rest of the day is on your own. Feel free to explore lesser-known parts of Bangkok or look for some lovely souvenirs to bring home.
