Bangkok, the sprawling capital of Thailand, dazzles visitors with its ornate shrines, bustling street markets, and relentless energy. The Chao Phraya River, crowded with long-tail boats and ferries, winds through the city and feeds a historic network of canals. Flowing past the Rattanakosin royal district, the river offers views of the opulent Grand Palace and the sacred Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), two of the nation's most revered landmarks.

Overnight in Bangkok.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of Bangkok's most famous temples. Your first stop will be at Royal Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha, two of the most famous tourist attractions in Bangkok. The Grand Palace is adjacent to Wat Phra Kaew, and together they form a common compound. The Grand Palace features European-inspired designs, except for the roofs, which maintain a distinctly Thai style.

Next, you will visit Wat Po, which is the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok. This temple is famous for its Reclining Buddha (Phra Buddhasaiyas), the largest single Buddha image in Thailand, and is also the birthplace of traditional Thai massage. After this visit, you will have free time for lunch on your own.

You will then visit Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of the Dawn. This iconic landmark is one of the most well-known temples in Bangkok and offers a stunning view of the city.

Enjoy a walk through the flower market before the last visit at the Golden Mountain.

After this visit, you will return to your hotel for some free time to relax and explore the city at your leisure. Overnight in Bangkok.

Important Notes:

  • The Grand Palace may occasionally close without prior notice due to royal ceremonies or official state visits.
  • Modest attire is required for visits to the Grand Palace and temples. Shoulders and knees must be covered, and shoes must be removed before entering temple buildings.

The itinerary may be adjusted depending on local conditions.

Transfer to Bangkok airport for flight to Chiang Rai. Arrival at the airport in Chiang Rai, reception at the airport with a local guide and transfer city.

Visit the famous Blue Temple, or Wat Rong Seua Ten located a few kilometers from Chiang Rai. It is a recent temple that is still under construction, although its main hall is now completed. It is above all its magnificent blue interior with a large white Buddha that marks the spirits. The Blue Temple of Chiang Rai is still little known among tourists for now, because it was completed very recently. Then we will begin the journey that takes us to Chiang Rai, during which we cannot miss a visit to the White Temple or Wat Rong Khun. One of the many religious places in Chiang Rai. With exceptional quality in art and extremely elaborate architecture, the consecrated assembly hall of Wat Rong Khun is unlike any other temple in terms of having both carved pediment peaks and tooth-shaped ridges. The hall itself is mostly constructed in pure white, illustrative of the purity of the Buddha. The clear mirrored sparkling glass serves as the wisdom of the Awakened One shining upon the earth and the universe.

Overnight in Chiang Rai.

Today we begin the exploration of this province, the northernmost of Thailand, starting from the famous Golden Triangle, the point where the borders of Myanmar (ancient Burma), Thailand and Laos meet. It is located 9 kilometers north of Chiang Saen, along the road along the Mekong River. Sop Ruak is where the Mekong River (Lao border) meets the Ruak River (Burma border). In the past, the Golden Triangle was the world's main source of drug trafficking due to its privileged location, connected to opioid-producing countries. Today it is a renowned tourist attraction. The visit includes Wat Phra That Pu Khao which offers a wonderful view of the Golden Triangle, the Mekong River, and the forested mountains. Two large multi-headed Naga serpents at the bottom of the staircase protect the temple. We continue with the Opium Museum. The museum exhibits and educates visitors about the production of opium and its use in the lives of the hill tribal people, from the visit we can learn a lot about the history of opium since it developed in this infamous locality. In the afternoon visit Mae Sai, a border town, with a large market located along the border with Myanmar (formerly Burma), where you can find absolutely everything. As we head towards the hotel, we stop to visit the Yao and Akha ethnic minorities, settled in the Mae Chan district.

  • 10:00 – 10:20 | Meet the Team & Get to Know the Elephants:Change into traditional Karen clothing and sit down with our team. Before you meet the elephants, you'll hear about who they are — their names, where they came from, and what makes each one different. By the time you walk out to meet them, they won't be strangers.
  • 10:20 – 10:40 | First Meeting — Feed the ElephantsYour first moment face to face. You'll prepare fruit and feed them by hand and start to see for yourself whether their personality matches what you heard about them.
  • 10:40 – 11:00 | Morning Health Check with the Vet Every morning our vet checks on the elephants you just met. You'll join in, help record observations, and ask questions directly. Short but one of the more eye-opening parts of the day.

  • 13:20 – 13:40 | River Bathing Walk with the elephants down to the river and help with their afternoon bath. By now you know them well enough that this feels less like an activity and more like just spending time together.

Our team will help you read what you're seeing: how they move, how they communicate, and what their behavior tells you about how they're feeling. After a morning up close, this is a different kind of connection.
