Overnight in Bangkok.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of Bangkok's most famous temples. Your first stop will be at Royal Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha, two of the most famous tourist attractions in Bangkok. The Grand Palace is adjacent to Wat Phra Kaew, and together they form a common compound. The Grand Palace features European-inspired designs, except for the roofs, which maintain a distinctly Thai style.

Next, you will visit Wat Po, which is the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok. This temple is famous for its Reclining Buddha (Phra Buddhasaiyas), the largest single Buddha image in Thailand, and is also the birthplace of traditional Thai massage. After this visit, you will have free time for lunch on your own.

You will then visit Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of the Dawn. This iconic landmark is one of the most well-known temples in Bangkok and offers a stunning view of the city.

Enjoy a walk through the flower market before the last visit at the Golden Mountain.

After this visit, you will return to your hotel for some free time to relax and explore the city at your leisure. Overnight in Bangkok.

Important Notes:

  • The Grand Palace may occasionally close without prior notice due to royal ceremonies or official state visits.
  • Modest attire is required for visits to the Grand Palace and temples. Shoulders and knees must be covered, and shoes must be removed before entering temple buildings.
  • The itinerary may be adjusted depending on local conditions.

Breakfast at hotel. At 06:30-07:00: Meeting with the Guide at the hotel and departure for a beautiful day of visits to the nearby provinces of Song Khram and Ratchaburi, about 100 km from Bangkok. Let's start with the Railway Track Market (Hoop Rom Market) also commonly called Siang Tai (life threatening) market. It is considered one of the fantastic attractions of Thailand.

We then proceed towards the Damnen Saduak Floating Market, arrive at the pier and with a motorboat in about 30 minutes of travel between the canals, we reach the Floating Market. Damnoen Saduak Market in Ratchaburi is one of the most popular floating markets in Thailand. Every day many Thai and foreign tourists arrive here to shop, eat and absorb the atmosphere of Thailand's water markets built over a hundred years ago. 11:00 Approx. return to Bangkok, arriving at the hotel around 12:00.

Transfer to Bangkok airport for flight to Chiang Mai. Arrival at the airport in Chiang Mai, reception at the airport with a local guide and transfer to hotel for check in.

Begin your day in Chiang Mai with breakfast at your hotel, followed by a pickup for a tour of Doi Suthep, where you'll visit its renowned temple—one of northern Thailand's most important spiritual sites. Explore the culture and traditional crafts of the Hmong Hilltribe Village. Your city tour continues with visits to Chiang Mai's historic walls and moat, Tha Phae Gate, the Three Kings Monument, and Wat Chedi Luang, among other notable attractions. Conclude your day with a stop at a local market, offering a glimpse into vibrant local life along with an array of street food and handicrafts, before returning to your hotel for some evening leisure.

Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Breakfast at your hotel or breakfast box

Today we will enjoy an amazing trip to the Top-end Elephant Parks in the North of Thailand. This is the only elephant breeding farm in Thailand.

  • 08:00 – 08:30 | Pick-Up from Your Hotel We'll collect you from your accommodation in Chiang Mai.
  • 08:30 – 10:00 | Drive to the SanctuaryAbout 1.5 hours through the countryside—rice fields, forest, and small villages along the way.
  • 10:00 – 10:20 | Meet the Team & Get to Know the Elephants:Change into traditional Karen clothing and sit down with our team. Before you meet the elephants, you'll hear about who they are — their names, where they came from, and what makes each one different. By the time you walk out to meet them, they won't be strangers.
  • 10:20 – 10:40 | First Meeting — Feed the ElephantsYour first moment face to face. You'll prepare fruit and feed them by hand and start to see for yourself whether their personality matches what you heard about them.
  • 10:40 – 11:00 | Morning Health Check with the Vet Every morning our vet checks on the elephants you just met. You'll join in, help record observations, and ask questions directly. Short but one of the more eye-opening parts of the day.
  • 11:00 – 11:20 | Prepare Herbal Supplements Now that you know what each elephant needs, you'll help prepare the natural supplements our vet recommends and understand exactly how what you're making connects to their health.
  • 11:20 – 11:40  |  Make Khanom Krok Try making Thailand's traditional coconut pancakes with the team
  • 12:00 – 13:00 | Lunch: Sit down to a fresh Thai meal. A good moment to slow down and take in everything from the morning.
  • 13:00 – 13:20 | Mud Spa The most relaxed part of the morning. Mud protects elephant skin from sun and insects—and this is usually the part nobody wants to leave.
  • 13:20 – 13:40 | River Bathing Walk with the elephants down to the river and help with their afternoon bath. By now you know them well enough that this feels less like an activity and more like just spending time together.
  • 14:00 – 14:20 | Watch the Elephants Take a quiet moment to observe the herd from a distance — no feeding, no interaction, just elephants being themselves. Our team will help you read what you're seeing: how they move, how they communicate, and what their behavior tells you about how they're feeling. After a morning up close, this is a different kind of connection.
  • 14:20 – 15:00 | Make Their Farewell Treat — Elephant CakeUsing banana, pumpkin, rice, and seasonal fruit, you'll put together a handcrafted treat for the elephants you've spent the day with. Then hand it to them yourself.
  • 15:00 – 15:30 | Farewell A proper goodbye — to elephants you now know by name.
  • 15:45 – 17:15 | Drive Back to Chiang Mai
  • 17:15 – 17:30 | Drop-Off at Your Hotel

Suggestion to bring: T-shirt, long pants, extra clothes, sandals or slippers, sunblock lotion, insect spray, swimming suit.

Overnight in Chiang Mai.

After breakfast, leave Chiang Mai behind and travel southeast toward Mae Ka Chan, a tranquil stop famous for its natural hot springs. Here, you can watch mineral-rich water bubble up from geothermal pools, fill your lungs with the faint scent of sulphur, and even try the local tradition of boiling eggs in the steaming streams – a perfect way to stretch your legs before continuing the journey.

Refreshed, you’ll press onward to Chiang Rai. Visit the famous Blue Temple, or Wat Rong Seua Ten located a few kilometers from Chiang Rai. It is a recent temple that is still under construction, although its main hall is now completed. It is above all its magnificent blue interior with a large white Buddha that marks the spirits. The Blue Temple of Chiang Rai is still little known among tourists for now, because it was completed very recently. Then we will begin the journey that takes us to Chiang Rai, during which we cannot miss a visit to the White Temple or Wat Rong Khun. One of the many religious places in Chiang Rai. With exceptional quality in art and extremely elaborate architecture, the consecrated assembly hall of Wat Rong Khun is unlike any other temple in terms of having both carved pediment peaks and tooth-shaped ridges. The hall itself is mostly constructed in pure white, illustrative of the purity of the Buddha. The clear mirrored sparkling glass serves as the wisdom of the Awakened One shining upon the earth and the universe.

Overnight in Chiang Rai.

Today we begin the exploration of this province, the northernmost of Thailand, starting from the famous Golden Triangle, the point where the borders of Myanmar (ancient Burma), Thailand and Laos meet. It is located 9 kilometers north of Chiang Saen, along the road along the Mekong River. Sop Ruak is where the Mekong River (Lao border) meets the Ruak River (Burma border). In the past, the Golden Triangle was the world's main source of drug trafficking due to its privileged location, connected to opioid-producing countries. Today it is a renowned tourist attraction. The visit includes Wat Phra That Pu Khao which offers a wonderful view of the Golden Triangle, the Mekong River, and the forested mountains. Two large multi-headed Naga serpents at the bottom of the staircase protect the temple. We continue with the Opium Museum. The museum exhibits and educates visitors about the production of opium and its use in the lives of the hill tribal people, from the visit we can learn a lot about the history of opium since it developed in this infamous locality. In the afternoon visit Mae Sai, a border town, with a large market located along the border with Myanmar (formerly Burma), where you can find absolutely everything. As we head towards the hotel, we stop to visit the Yao and Akha ethnic minorities, settled in the Mae Chan district.

Then we travel to Chiang Khong in the afternoon and check in at your hotel in Chiang Khong.

Overnight in Chiang Khong.

07:30: After breakfast, pick up by driver (no guide) and drive to Chiang Khong border, a district in the northeastern part of Chiang Rai to Houayxay check point.

After you pass by Thailand Immigration, take shuttle bus from Thailand side to Laos side (the bus ticket costs 40 Bath per person and 45 Bath for each luggage, and this cost not included, so please pay directly there).

After passing through Laos immigration, you will cross the Mekong River to Houayxay in Laos where your Lao guide will be waiting for you at the immigration point. After completing border formalities, you board a ready traditional boat for the trip down the Mekong River. Serene, timeless Laos is one of Asia's most unvisited, unchanged countries. This once-powerful kingdom known as Lane Xang (Million Elephants) was founded in the 14th century with the help of the Khmers, and it went on to become one of the largest kingdoms in Southeast Asia until its demise in the late 19th century. Bisected and bordered by the Mekong River, omnipresent symbol of Indochina, Laos today is an amalgam of cultural influences, Theravada Buddhism, animism, France, and the socialist ideal. It is a peaceful place, and the legendary hospitality, resilience and friendliness of the Lao people is much in evidence. Laos is Old Asia preserved. As your journey downriver you will stop at some tribal minority villages such as the Hmong, Yao and Khmu.

Overnight in Pakbeng.

Join Slow boat tours:

An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (ubiquitous sticky rice) from the faithful residents.
